My Testimony...

About Me

I moved around a lot growing up, but I claim Tennessee as my home. I am the middle child of 5 kids. I love my family more than anything!! Right now I am a Family and Consumer Science Education major at BYU-Idaho, but I will be taking a break to serve a mission in Peru! I enjoy playing the cello, playing volleyball, cooking, sewing, being with my family, hanging out with friends, and loving life!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, my family comes from a long history of members. I have been blessed with faithful parents that share their testimony through the life's that they live. Growing up I always knew that the things that I was being taught were true. I don't have one big experience that I can look back on and say that it was the moment when I knew the church was true. But I have tons of little experiences that all are a testimony to me of my Savior and the gospel. The happiness that I can feel from living this gospel and following the Savior amazes me everyday. I know that the Savior atoned for my sins and shortcomings. He is real. I am amazed by his loving hand in my life! I know that if we follow him, and try to align our life's with his plan for us, we will find true happiness.

How I live my faith

I try to follow the Savior by righteous living. I live my faith by being an example, and a friend to those around me. I love to be involved in church callings! Currently I am a counselor in the women's organization (Relief Society) in my ward. I am able to uplift and help sisters in their daily lives. I love it! I am very excited for the opportunity that I have to serve a mission in Peru! I cannot wait to share and teach others about this gospel, it truly is the reason why I smile!
